40 days after: a lot of desquamation in recipient
Permalink

Hi Phil.
Since the last week I have a lot of desquamation on recipient.
I make shampoo every day or alternate days, but desquamation persists.
Is it normal, maybe my skin is being regenerated?
Some advice? Is it better to interrupt minoxidil (I've started to apply it on recipient two days ago).
Can I be quiet, maybe I'm a little paranoic, but can you show these pics to Dr. Bisanga?
Many thanks.

Pics made after shampoo

Hi Rico,

It's just a little dryness, nothing to concern about and it's not uncommon after a hair transplant. A little natural oil, vitamin E is always good to use, massage it onto the scalp.

It can be be caused by a change in the weather, a drop in temperature, over active skin development, not uncommon after a h/t and also if you suffer from exzema anyway.

Minox has a degree of alcohol in it, and this will dry the skin a little, if the skin is sensitive. maybe lower the dosage down a little, maybe 1/2 ml two applications a day, just for a week.
