International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery Hosts 14th Annual Scientific Meeting in San Diego, October 18-22, 2006

GENEVA, Ill., Sept. 27 /PRNewswire/ --

Drawing more than 400 physicians from around the world dedicated to advancing the art and science of hair restoration, the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery's (ISHRS) annual scientific meeting will be held October 18-22 at the Hotel del Coronado in San Diego. The conference offers an unrivaled educational line-up of workshops and courses in diagnosing, treating and preventing future hair loss -- from the latest research in identifying genes responsible for hair loss and the gold standard in hair transplantation techniques for male pattern baldness to using body hair to augment coverage and improve the cosmetic appearance of scars.
"Physicians of all levels of experience will benefit from this
exceptional CME educational program that includes hands-on skills training,
expert faculty, and the opportunity to observe our live surgery workshop,"
said Paul T. Rose, MD, JD, president of the ISHRS. "As patient demand for
hair restoration procedures continue to increase, the ISHRS will continue
to offer our members access to the latest information and cutting-edge
techniques to help them deliver the results patients want that are
natural-looking, permanent and virtually undetectable."
